Dalnan bears were a type of bear from the planet Dalna that stole farmers' crops and cattle.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] when the Path of the Open Hand Force religion on Dalna anticipated an attack from the Jedi, the Mirialan Binnot Ullo told the human Axel Greylark that he would be fighting with the unskilled farmers, though he admitted that even the farmers had more experience than Greylark because of their having to deal with Dalnan bears and other beasts.[1]

Dalnan bears were mentioned in Cataclysm, a novel written by Lydia Kang and published in 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3]
