The Daichyura were a sentient species found in the galaxy during the Galactic War. Humanoid in shape, the species possessed five-fingered hands, small mouths, and had a crest on top of their heads similar to those of Vurk. A Daichyura named Sellexith worked at Star Cluster Casino as a bouncer during a Soovada event.[1]

Behind the scenes

Daichyura is a new species created for Star Wars: The Old Republic. A single member of the species named Sellexith appears during the Nightlife event in the Imperial casino, though she does not speak.

The species was not identified in the dialogue, but the name of Sellexith's species could be viewed in game's files. One year later, the Underworld Personnel Bundle was added to the Cartel Market shop, which includes a Daichyura bartender, identified as "Bartender (Female)". In a tweet advertising the decoration bundle, the developers officially confirmed the species' name for the first time.[2]
