Dac pirate droids were a type of droid that shared their name with[1] the ocean planet Mon Cala, also known as Dac.[2] While fighting against droids that served the mercenary Ledesmar during a mission for the Spice Runners of Kijimi, Marinda Gan compared Ledesmar's droids to a mix between protocol droids and Dac pirate droids.[1]
