"Dropped it into a custom analyzer, with some samples from other corps."
―puesso, posting on the Cularin holonet node[1]

A custom analyzer was an analysis tool that could be used to review the syntax of written documents to identify similarities with other texts. During the Clone Wars, the slicer mstrslcr shared on the Cularin holonet node an intercepted message from an unspecified source that discussed the Almas Academy,[1] a Jedi academy on the planet Almas,[2] and recommended intervention in the operation of the institution. The holonet node user puesso reviewed the the message with a custom analyzer to identify further details regarding the author of the text; though some users had speculated that the message originated from a Jedi source, puesso's analysis reported no similarity with other Jedi works. The custom analyzer reported a 50% syntax match with writings from military sources, a 63% match with texts from the SoroSuub Corporation and an 87% match with works from the Metatheran Cartel,[1] a trade organization active in the Cularin system.[2]
