The Crystal Fields were an area located on the planet Mustafar,[1] in the northern portion of the Crystal Flats region.[2] It was formed when the orbit of Mustafar suddenly shifted, causing the world to tear itself apart. The crystals sprouted up virtually over night while it should normally take millions of years to form on other worlds.[1] These crystals gave its name to the entire Crystal Flats.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Crystal Fields were a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] The Crystal Fields were added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.[1]
