Cryopedes were a type of creature found in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] cryopedes got into the office of Wen Delphis, crime lord of the Sixth Kin gang, in Club Tarsus through the building's vents. She complained of the infestation and a technician at the club made plans to clear them out, but lost their keycard and so went for a drink in the club with one of the Sixth Kin's enforcers instead. The enforcer brought up Delphis's complaints about the cryopedes and offered to help the technician find the keycard after another round of drinks.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cryopedes are mentioned in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws. The player has the option to overhear the conversation about the creatures during the game's main storyline and use the information to steal a keycard and enter Delphis's office through the vents; however, they can also gain entry to the office by bribing or distracting the bouncer Vrell and continue the storyline without hearing the conversation.[1]
