- "He only cares about two things. Easy money and fast speeders."
- ―A Club Tarsus bartender
Vrell was a Trandoshan member of the Sixth Kin gang who served as a bouncer in the Sixth Kin's nightclub, Club Tarsus, within the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. In 3 ABY, the scoundrel Kay Vess bypassed Vrell in order to steal a forged identicard from the office of Sixth Kin leader Wen Delphis in Club Tarsus.
Biography
During the Imperial Era, the Trandoshan Vrell was a member of the Sixth Kin, a criminal gang operating in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. He worked as a bouncer in the Sixth Kin's nightclub, Club Tarsus, within Canto Bight's South Stretch Worker's District.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Vrell purchased a Joben T-85 speeder bike, which he also had modified. Vrell was on duty outside a passage that led to the office of Sixth Kin boss Wen Delphis while she attended the Canto Cup fathier race. During that time, the scoundrel Kay Vess infiltrated the nightclub in order to steal a forged identicard from Delphis's office. Vess managed to bypass Vrell and steal the identicard, subsequently setting off an alarm and having to shoot her way out of Club Tarsus.[1]
Personality and traits
Caring only about money and fast speeders, Vrell was willing to accept bribes and was protective of his newly-purchased Joben T-85, which the bartender of Club Tarsus claimed the Trandoshan loved more than his mother. He possessed green skin and yellow eyes.[1]
Equipment
As a member of the Sixth Kin, Vrell wore an outfit consisting of a blue shirt, brown belt, and gray pants and boots. He also wore gold-colored chest armor—featuring the Sixth Kin's symbol—and vambraces. He owned a Joben T-85 speeder.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vrell appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws, featuring in the opening main quest, "Beginnings." The player, as Kay Vess, can bypass Vrell by either bluffing him with a claim that his Joben T-85 outside is being hijacked, leading him to depart to check on it, or with a bribe of 100 credits, which the Trandoshan claims is enough to be allowed past. The bluff option requires first speaking to the Club Tarsus bartender to learn of his recent purchase of the speeder; if Vrell is spoken to without that information, Vess will claim that Delphis wants to see her, only for the Trandoshan to laugh and refute the lie. It is also possible to avoid interacting with Vrell entirely by stealing a keycard that unlocks a different route to the office.[1]
