Crucrarocha beetles were a type of beetle used as an ingredient in crucrarocha beetle salad.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] in the Hutt Devirsivik Clan's palace on the planet Nal Hutta, a Toydarian cook served the Hutt Churo crucrarocha beetle salad and fried worrt with his green juice for breakfast, even though Churo had previously told the cook that he was a vegetarian. Churo's father made him finish his meal anyway, and his cousin Lorko mocked him and shoveled an extra helping onto his plate. Later that day, when Churo's sister Dahara Devirsivik Norri told him to stop grinning, Churo attempted to twist his face to look stretchy and mad like his sister's but felt that he only managed to look like he was trying to not throw up the crucrarocha beetles he had eaten.[1]

As The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
