"For the removal and control of: bladderworm, crop microserps, multilegged throat croakers, intestinal fangworm colonies, lesser and greater nasal nesting spit-crawlers, cranial nodular worms."
―Advertisement leaflet for Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer included in Rey's survival guide[1]

Crop microserps were a type of parasitic worm that could infest the domesticated happabore species, which was found on planets across the Western Reaches. Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer—a product produced by Galacti-Stok that contained Trestibinexocycline 5-Gamma, thlank oil, greel-root acid and forage products—could be used to treat crop microserps infestation in happabores. Use of the dewormer on the parasite was suggested in the instructions for the slurry formulation of the product. The scavenger Rey found a copy of these instructions while living on the desert planet Jakku and included them alongside information about happabores on the world in a survival guide that[1] she[2] compiled[1] by 34 ABY.[3]

Behind the scenes

Crop microserps were mentioned in Rey's Survival Guide, a 2015 replica journal written by Jason Fry.[1]
