Crocodiles were a scaly species that shared physical similarities with the sentient Saurins.[1] The criminal and mechanic Rekias Nodo was described by smuggler Han Solo as having crocodilian features.[2] Happabores resembled a cross between a crocodile and a pig.[3]

Crocodiles were first mentioned in the 2016 young reader's reference book The Amazing Book of Star Wars, written by Elizabeth Dowsett.[3] In real-life, crocodiles are a type of large reptile.[4]
