Crizlon was a Chevin information broker who sliced into several military databases during the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire.[1] By 3643 BBY,[2] he had begun stealing information from both of those governments.[1]
By that year,[2] an individual associated with one of the two sides in the Republic–Empire struggle sent a companion to[1] the planet[3] Vinsoth to recover classified data before Crizlon could sell it to the faction on the opposing side. Slicing into Crizlon's computers, the companion discovered his theft of information from both the Empire and Republic. The companion recovered the data and then wiped the datacores of all information.[1]
Behind the scenes
Crizlon was mentioned in BioWare's 2011 video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, within the Crew Skill mission "Reclaim What's Ours," though the information about the mission's outcome was later removed from the game.[1]

Star Wars: The Old Republic — Slicing Crew Skill mission: "Reclaim What's Ours"
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Reclaim What's Ours" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
