Crescent mushrooms were a type of mushroom.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] the anti-Nihil operative Cair San Tekka returned to his family's compound on the planet Naboo, opting to land on its ground-level landing pads. However, as he maneuvered his yacht into position, he reflected that he usually preferred the compound's shelf landing pads, which clung to the manor's structure like crescent mushrooms.[1]

Crescent mushrooms were mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
