Crash Pit Six was a crash pit at the Sarnus Refinery industrial complex on the Chiloon Rift planet Sarnus. The pit was one of an array of crash pits into which astroliths—crushed asteroid fragments—were dropped from the planetary atmosphere, then transported to grinding mills for processing. In 45 ABY, the biot Dena Yus, an agent of the Columni industrialists Craitheus and Marvid Qreph, sabotaged the refinery's protective tractor beams; subsequent unprotected astrolith drops onto Crash Pits Three and Six resulted in the Sarnus Refinery's destruction.[1]
