"Dena, do you have any maintenance scheduled for Crash Pit One?"
―Lando Calrissian, to Dena Yus[1]

Crash Pit One was one of series of crash pits operated at the Sarnus Refinery, an industrial complex on the planet Sarnus owned by the businessman Lando Calrissian. The pit was used as a spot on which astrolith—crushed asteroid fragments dropped from the edge of atmosphere of Sarnus—were directed to land in Crash Pit One and the other pits and funnelled onto repulsi-veyer lines and transported to grinding mills for processing. In 45 ABY, the biot Dena Yus sabotaged Crash Pit One on behalf of the Columni industrialists Craitheus and Marvid Qreph by misaligning the crash pit's protective tractor beams.[1]

Behind the scenes

Crash Pit One appeared in the 2013 Star Wars Legends novel Crucible, written by Troy Denning.[1]
