During the Imperial Era, a transport office was located in a desert town. This ticket-selling establishment was run by Cort,[1] a female[2] human who found[1] her[2] profession unappealing. Cort hired Asajj Ventress, Count Dooku's former assassin, who was tasked with scanning customers' cards and tossing out clients who proved uncooperative.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cort's transport office debuted in "A Way Forward," the first episode of the 3D CGI animation series Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld,[1] which premiered on Disney+ on May 4, 2025. A snapshot of the establishment had previously been included in the trailer of the series, which was released on April 2, the same year.[3]
