Corridor of the Lost

The Corridor of the Lost was located in the Jedi Order's Great Temple on^[1] the Core Worlds planet^[2] Coruscant. It was where Jedi Knights who had departed from the Order were memorialized, like how^[1] Jedi Masters that had departed the Order by their own choice^[3]—known as the Lost—were commemorated with statues in the Temple's Jedi Archives.^[1]

In 231 BBY,^[4] Jedi Master Stellan Gios encountered a Tholothian individual wielding a purple-bladed lightsaber on the Outer Rim planet Valo. After being notified of her identity as Ty Yorrick, Gios mentally noted he was not familiar with the name, and that he would check the Order's registry when back on Coruscant. He then noted she had been obviously trained by a Jedi and considered she had been a Padawan that had not been Knighted, or she would have been memorialized in the Corridor of the Lost. Yorrick, in fact, had been a Padawan before she left the Order.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Corridor of the Lost was mentioned in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase I.^[5]
