"This is a secure area. You must have proper clearance. Stop at once!"
―An RA-7 protocol droid at a checkpoint by Coronet SFS-13[2]

Coronet SFS-13 was the designation of a factory operated in Coronet City on the planet Corellia by Santhe Corporation and Sienar Fleet Systems. It was located on a pill by the city's Antonian Lagoon and was used to manufactuer TIE/ln space superiority starfighters. A memorial flame burned beside the factory commemorating those who died defending Coronet City's shipyards from the Nihil in 230 BBY.

In 13 BBY, the scrumrats Han and Qi'ra raced past the front of the factory in a M-68 landspeeder while fleeing from the criminal White Worms gang, breaking through the barrier at an Imperial checkpoint as they did so. A A-A4B truckspeeder belonging to the White Worms then passed the factory while pursuing the pair.

Description

The factory designated Coronet SFS-13 was located on a pill by the Antonian Lagoon in Coronet City on the planet Corellia. It consisted of a long and narrow gray building with sloped, curved sides and a roof of varying heights, some of which was marked with red lighting. The slopes gave way to vertically flat walls on one corner of the building which was lined with multiple floors of windows. Brown piping emerged from the building at various points of differing height before descending into the ground around it, with a pair of gray pipes also descending from roof to ground. Two waste heat exchangers towered over the factory on one side and a cylindrical silo stood near them, with all three bearing the same red lights as the factory's roof.[1]

Coronet SFS-13 covered the entrity of the pill it was located on, which joined with the pill housing the Coronet City Spaceport at one corner. The factory's pill was also connected by bridge to a pill where[1] another Santhe/Sienar factory designated Coronet-SFS-14[2] was located, as well as a Kuat Drive Yards factory designated Coronet-KDY-14, the shipyard central office, the Otlair fish market, and the Maritime operations center and CorSec coast guards station. The road on the road on the bridge continued round one side of Coronet SFS-13 and then became the Shug Drabor Causeway over the lagoon, which was a branch of Narro Sienar Boulevard.[1]

History

"You must follow the proper… Protocol."
―The RA-7 protocol droid is struck by a truck speeder outside the factory[3]

During the Imperial Era, a memorial flame burned beside Coronet SFS-13 to commemorate those who felld defending Coronet's shipyards from the Nihil,[1] a group of pirates who unsuccessfully attacked the shipyards when they were under the protection of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order in 230 BBY during the High Republic Era.[4]

In 13 BBY,[5] Coronet SFS-13 was operated by Santhe Corporation and Sienar Fleet Systems. It acted as an assembly plant for TIE/ln space superiority starfighters used by the Galactic Empire[1] and was treated as a secure area with an Imperial-staffed gated checkpoint on the bridge leading to the neighbouring pill.[3] In that year,[5] the scrumrats Han and Qi'ra fled from the criminal White Worms gang in a M-68 landspeeder and were forced to divert down the Shug Dabor Causeway on their way to the spaceport.[3]

The pair raced past the factory once on its pill and then drove straight through the closed bridge gate, drawing cries of protest from a RA-7 protocol droid at the checkpoint. The droid was then smashed to pieces when a A-A4B truckspeeder driven by members of the White Worms raced passed Coronet SFS-13 and collided with the droid, continuing over the bridge in pursuit of the landspeeder.[3]
