Coronet Arms was a weapons manufacturer that manufactured a model of dueling pistols which was typical of such blasters and often ordered in pairs. Coronet Arms engineers modelled the Mark V "Sand Panther" hunting rifle, a popular retirement gift among Corellians, on an ancient rifle once used to hunt Corellian sand panthers. The company shared its name with[1] Coronet City, a city on the planet Corellia.[2]
Behind the scenes
Coronet Arms was first mentioned in the[1] 2019[3] canon Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying game sourcebook Gadgets and Gear.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Coronet Arms was first mentioned in Suns of Fortune,[4] a 2014[5] Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook.[4]
