Copperline was a world of poor farmers that was plagued by pirates for decades. In 18 BBY, the Imperial Navy and Army, including at least one unit of stormtroopers, cleaned out the pirates in a five-month-long operation.

Daric LaRone was born on this world in 28 BBY, who witnessing of a Galactic Empire operation in 18 BBY that ended the pirate scourge which greatly influenced his desire to enlist in the Imperial Army when he came of age.
