A cooling unit was a starship component that required energy cells to power it. It was used on Action VI transports.[1] Turbolasers utilized cryogenic cooling units.[2]
In 14 ABY, Jedi Jaden Korr became stranded on Blenjeel while on a mission. He successfully took another ship's energy cell and installed on his transport to power the cooling unit in order to get out of the planet.[1]
