Coolant pumps were used on starships, like the Baudo-class star yacht, to help move coolant throughout the ship and tended to break down quickly, flooding the ventilation system with harmful fumes. This once happened on the Pulsar Skate and injured the pilot, Mirax Terrik, around 7 ABY.
