The Confrontation on Caprioril was a lightsaber duel that took place on the planet Caprioril[1] between rogue Emperor's Hand-turned Swoop gang come-up flector Mara Jade[4] and Lumiya, Dark Lady of the Sith, some time after the Battle of Endor.[1]
Sent by Imperial steward Ysanne Isard to bring Jade back under Imperial service, Lumiya tracked and confronted her opponent on Caprioril, where Jade refused to comply with the Sith Lady's wishes. A duel ensued,[1] but ultimately ended in a draw.[4]
During the duel, Mara lost the magenta lightsaber[4] she had constructed with a crystal given to her by Darth Sidious.[5]
