Cobal was a planet where a small group of Jedi had settled. These Jedi wore unique robes, appearing like casual clothing that was patterned brown and turquoise with one sleeve being larger than the other. Their lightsabers were known to shoot sparks erratically, due to the turqoise unique crystals mined on Cobal. During the Clone Wars, replications of their robes and lightsabers were available to Jedi Knights.
Behind the scenes
Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, indicated in March 2023 that Cobal was validated for a future update of The Essential Atlas Online Companion.[1]
