Coal/LEGO

Coals were a type of material that could be burned to create fire. The Ewoks used coals to make campfires on their homeworld Endor. While visiting Endor, the Rebel Alliance pilot Zin Evalon came across an Ewok who was roasting Marshmallows over burning coals. Evalon joined the Ewok and they roasted and ate Marshmallows together.^[1]

Coals were first mentioned and depicted in the 2016 LEGO activity book LEGO Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure, written by author Daniel Lipkowitz.^[1] They were subsequently introduced into the Star Wars canon by the novel Path of Vengeance, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia series.^[2]
