CoMar Combat Systems was a company which produced the SLD-26 planetary shield generator. During the Galactic Civil War against the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the Galactic Empire installed an SLD-26 on the moon Endor to provide a shield for the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station space station being constructed in orbit.[1]

Behind the scenes

CoMar Combat Systems was first mentioned in the Imperial Sourcebook by Greg Gorden which was a supplementary book released in 1989 for the Star Wars Legends Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. The company was confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
