Class II heavy laser cannon

The class II heavy laser cannon was a variant of heavy laser cannon. Two such laser cannons, MS-1 fire-linked heavy laser cannons, were positioned on the bottom of the All Terrain Armored Transport walker's cockpit, below the windshield.^[1]

Class II heavy laser cannons first appeared in the 1980 original trilogy film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.^[2] They were first identified on the 2014 fine-art print "AT-AT" SpecPlate.^[1]
