"To tell the truth, the Empire also made a mess of my planet and my family right along with it. It was awful. I guess you all aren't the only ones holding a grudge."
―Chita — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[1]

A planet was the homeworld of the human smuggler Chita.[1] At some point between 19 BBY and 0 ABY,[2] the Galactic Empire arrived to the world and, according to Chita, "made a mess" of the planet and her family, viewing the event as awful. Later,[1] at some point between 2 BBY and 0 ABY,[3] Chita told the former Jedi Gleenu of her homeworld when talking of the planet Zenarita's struggle under Imperial rule, mentioning they were not the only ones that held a grudge against the Empire.[1]

Behind the scenes

Chita's homeworld was mentioned in "The Smuggler," a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Trigger, was released on Disney+[1] on October 29, 2025.[4]

  3. "The Smuggler" features members of the Rebel Alliance and Yavin 4 Rebel Base, which Star Wars: Timelines establishes formed in 2 BBY and was evacuated in 0 ABY. Therefore, "The Smuggler" must take place between 2 BBY and 0 ABY.
