Chief Protector, or Si'rin'na in Rodese, was an honored Rodian title bestowed upon a clan's best hunter (Protector).

When the Soammei clan became the first dominant clan on Rodia, its Chief Protector claimed himself Grand Protector or Inta'si'rin'na, a title that signified rulership over all Rodians. The title was adopted by the Chief Protectors of subsequent dominant clans. Sometimes a Grand Protector would transfer power to a Chief Protector peacefully.

Chief Protectors reigned under the Grand Protectors; they were local governors of their province, with their enclaves functioning as local capitals.

As the Chief Protector became a political title, the Supreme Hunter was the title that honored the best hunter in the context of the Goa-Ato.
