"Indeed, most administrative recruits who entered the bureaucracy of the Empire were provided with a copy of Chief Administrator Svete Naemon's gargantuan work A Thorough Guide to the Bureaucratic Operation and Diligent Administration of the Galactic Empire which, from my own research, was not an easy read."
―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire[1]

Chief Administrator was an administrative title within the Galactic Empire. Svete Naemon, author of A Thorough Guide to the Bureaucratic Operation and Diligent Administration of the Galactic Empire held the title and it was included by the historian Beaumont Kin when he mentioned Naemon in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire[1] in 35 ABY.[2]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the title of Chief Administrator was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity the titled first appeared in The Abduction, a 1992 adventure for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game that was written by Chuck Truett and published by West End Games.[3]

  2. Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
