The Chestrashi were a sentient species[1] originating from[3] Wild Space's Chestrashus system.[2] They were ruthless and made extensive use of biological warfare. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the company Charendohl Exports, Limited manufactured the Chestrashi void spear, a weapon characteristic of the species. The void spear, which was available in extremely limited quantities, was a metal throwing spear with a tip containing thousands of microorganisms. Upon striking the target, the weapon's payload would attack their bone and central nervous systems.[1] At some point between 0 ABY and 3 ABY,[4] the fiftieth-anniversary edition of Galladinium's Galactic Datalog of Fantastic Technology offered the datalog's customers an exclusive opportunity to purchase Chestrashi void spears.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Chestrashi were introduced in Galladinium's Fantastic Technology, a 1995 sourcebook authored by Rick D. Stuart for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]

This article treats the Chestrashus system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Chestrashi species.
