The Chempat Shield Generator was a model of deflector shield generator manufactured by Chempat Engineered Defenses. It employed several projectors to sheath a starship in a protective shield.[1]
Koensayr's BTL-A4 Y-wing starfighter was equipped with a single Chempat generator, located at the rear of the fuselage. Power was fed to the generator by a Power Feed Connector, travelling through a power coupling and into the shield matrix.[1]
The Jedi Order used a Chempat shield generator on their Savage Star fighters after the New Sith Wars.[2]
