- "Your game style has lost none of its intrigue or charm, Lord Vader. We are glad that you could come to Cheelit and accept our challenge..."
- ―Lady Dhol, to Darth Vader
Cheelit was a planet in the Cheelit system, located in the Mid Rim's Semagi sector[1] along the Cerean Reach.[2] Cheelit was home to the J'feh,[4] a race of sentient cephalopods that lived within large, floating globes. Cheelit's ornate Hive Palace was the home of the Lady Dhol during the era of the Galactic Civil War, until Dhol hired the Guild of Vindicators assassin Clat the Shamer to kill the Sith Lord Darth Vader during a game of firepath—Vader anticipated her treachery and killed them both.[3] Another J'feh, Skijid Vrescot, ruled as the Count of Cheelit during the later years of the Galactic Republic.[4]
Behind the scenes
Cheelit appeared in Dark Lord's Conscience, a comic story written by Alan Moore and illustrated by John Stokes, and originally released in 1982's The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 155.[3]
