- "Spice Runner ship, this is the Barloz freighter Oggrud. You'll have to forgive us—we thought we could cut across this corner. We're loaded with some minerals from Chaspang, over in the next sector."
- ―Rynn Zenat, to the Spice Runners of Kijimi
Rynn Zenat told the Spice Runners of Kijimi her team were a merchant ship with minerals from Chaspang.
Chaspang was a location where minerals could be acquired and which was situated in a sector adjacent to[1] the Outer Rim's[2] Anoat sector.[1] In 4 ABY,[3] when a New Republic team including the pilot Rynn Zenat[2] reached the Anoat sector[1] to assess the situation of the Imperial[2] Grand Moff Ubrik Adelhard's[4] Iron Blockade there, their starship was surrounded by vessels of the criminal Spice Runners of Kijimi.[2] The criminals then demanded they be allowed to board the New Republic ship or they would destroy it.[1]
In an attempt to off-balance the Spice Runners, Zenat told them[1] her[2] team was a merchant ship loaded with minerals from Chaspang, though the Spice Runner's leader—Zeva Bliss—recognized the deception. As the criminals discussed their next steps, Zenat used the pause to pilot the New Republic ship, which was armed with bombs, toward the Spice Runners' lead ship and then began ramming it into the criminals' other vessels.[1]
