The Chair of Office
The Chair of Office was the name for the official seat of the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. The chair was located in the Chancellor's office in the Senate Office Building on Coruscant. It was made of an ultra-dense lanthanide alloy armor, was equipped with a defensive shield, and also provided direct, secure communication with the Chancellor's aides and a summoner for the elite Red Guard.[1]
