"Get that hyperfuel ready, or you'll be back on the surface sifting dodecapedes out of the straw!"
―Ceore threatens her staff[1]

Ceore was a Zabrak who worked as Head Engineer of Renpalli Station's station engineering corps. In 3 ABY, she illegally sold fifteen units of hyperfuel to a droid making a resupply run for the casino cruiser Morenia. Ceore had the engineering corps handle delivery of the fuel and kept information about it on her datapad. Seeking to follow the droid back to the Morenia, the thief Kay Vess learned that he was flying a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter from Ceore.

"She set up the sale, she's the one holding the evidence. If the Empire notices, she takes the fall."
―A mechanic and a Tosharan discuss Ceore[1]

Ceore was a Zabrak who served as Head Engineer of the station engineering corps on the Toshaal system's Renpalli Station during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] she organised an illegal black market sale of fifteen units of hyperfuel to a droid making a resupply run for the casino cruiser Morenia. The Zabrak approved the fuel for transit after it was given an All Green inspection status, making sure that the delivery was managed directly by the corps.[1]

Kay Vess learned about a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter associated with the casino cruiser Morenia from Ceore.

Kay Vess learned about a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter associated with the casino cruiser Morenia from Ceore.

As her staff prepared the shipment in one of the space station's hangars, she threatened to send them back to the surface of the planet Toshara to sift dodecapedes from straw if they did not get the fuel ready. While the preparations took place, Ceore carried evidence of the transaction on her datapad in the form of the hyperfuel requisition form, leaving her liable for the crime if the Empire took notice. One of her mechanics did not like taking part in the hyperfuel deal and was uncertain about why Ceore trusted the droid from the Morenia, complaining to a Tosharan while working in the hangar.[1]

Seeking a way to reach the Morenia, the human thief Kay Vess approached the engineer to try and learn more about the droid she had dealt with. Although Ceore was unwilling to freely divulge information about her client, Vess learned that the droid was flying a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter and used that information to tail the freighter back to the cruiser.[1]

Personality and traits

"Hyperfuel, huh?"
"Mind your own business."
―Kay Vess and Ceore[1]

Ceore trusted the Morenia droid enough to carry out illegal transactions with him and refused to discuss the hyperfuel if asked, but was willing to reveal information on him in exchange for a bribe.[1]

"Actually I'm from the Morenia. I'm here to pick up the delivery."
"You don't look like a droid. Scram."
―The result of Kay Vess taking the option to try and bluff Ceore[1]

Ceore appeared in the "Wild Card" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on November 21, 2024.[3] When the player interacts with Ceore they have the option of either bribing her for information on the droid or trying to bluff that Vess is there to pick up the shipment. If they bribe her two-hundred and fifty credits, Ceore reveals that the hyperfuel is being delivered to a ZH-40 and gives Vess the requisition form but refuses to reveal anything further.[1]

If they attempt to bluff the Head Engineer, she is not fooled as she is expecting a droid rather than a human and so tells Vess to leave. The player must then use Vess's merqaal, Nix, to steal Ceore's datapad in order to learn about the droid's ship. Ceore's appearance is randomised for each playthrough, although her species is consistent.[1]
