The central hangar bay was the main hangar bay of the Fortress Inquisitorius on the planet Nur. It was located on the exterior of the Fortress, and equipped with sensors that scanned departing and arriving starships to ensure the safety of the facility. As the only access point of the Fortress above the water, it was equipped with its own squadron of TIE/ln space superiority starfighters as well as plenty of stormtrooper guards to defend it.[1]
