Cartao was a planet in the Prackla sector. The siviviv vine was native to Cartao, and it was the homeworld of the Cranscoc.
History
During the Galactic War, upstart crime bosses like Mal Khestekk tried to become important figures in the underworld of Cartao.[4]
Cartao was the source of Spaarti cloning cylinders. The world reluctantly remained loyal to the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars and the Battle of Cartao was fought in 22 BBY.
Behind the scenes
In the Portuguese language, "cartao" (more properly cartão) is the word for "card" (as in "credit card").
