During the Berch Teller campaign, an Imperial Navy task force was assembled to hunt down the Carrion Spike,[1] a modified IPV-2C Stealth Corvette,[2] which was stolen from Moff Wilhuff Tarkin by the rebel Berch Teller. The task force, initially led by Moff Tarkin, consisted of the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Executrix, the Imperial escort carrier Goliath, a CC-7700 frigate, a Detainer CC-2200, an Immobilizer 418 cruiser, and several picket ships along with other starships. Eventually, Moff Tarkin was replaced by Vice Admiral Dodd Rancit of the Naval Intelligence Agency to lead the task force.[1]
