The Carlania system was located in the Interior Region, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected via hyperlanes to the Arabanth and Ediorung systems.[1] The Carlania system was the origin point of Carlanian volcanic pipes.[2][3]

Behind the scenes

The Carlania system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]
