The Capture of Doogal Belstar was an operation carried out by the local Keren police force with the aid of agents of the Royal Naboo Security Forces commanded by Typho.
Background
- "I'm pretty sure I saw Doogal putting something by that gravestone over there. Maybe you should look around and see what's there."
- ―Officer Nok, to a spacer
The criminal organization known as the Maulers posed a serious threat to the peaceful citizens of Naboo in the early days of the Galactic Civil War. One of their number was Doogal Belstar, who at that time was the most wanted men on Naboo.[8] The otherwise undermanned Royal Security Police Force force having been bolstered with the same RSF agents who successfully had raided the Skaak Tippers and killed one of their prominent leaders,[10] Typho decided to attempt to capture Doogal.[8]
The operation
- "The concealed package mentions the meeting point for Doogal and his troops. Go there and take care of him before he gears up!"
- ―Captain Typho, to a spacer
Typho suspected that the Maulers might know the whereabouts of Belstar and sent the RSF agents to see if they could get any information out of a group of Mauler Apprentices. The effort resulted in fighting between the RSF agents and some of the Maulers around the Mauler Apprentice Camp. Then, having defeated the Maulers, the RSF agents found a map of Naboo with a location marked. The RSF agents met up with RSF Officer Nok who informed them that Belstar had been seen doing something near that location, and thus they might find further information regarding Belstar's whereabouts on that location, a cemetery near Keren. At the location they found a package revealing Belstar's location. Traveling to the location, they encountered Belstar. Aggressive as he was, they saw no option but to defeat him in battle, and managed to kill him and a number of other Maulers before returning to Typho.[8]

Aftermath
- "Doogal is finished, that's good. We may have to update our most wanted list now, see who's next in line for our attention."
- ―Captain Typho, to a spacer
Despite this setback, the Maulers continued their criminal activities, and the RSF agents were sent on a number of missions to thwart them,[3][4] before being placed under the command of Pooja Naberrie.[11]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
