A cactus (pl. cacti) was a type of plant. Varieties included the giant cactus, tentacle-cactus, dune-cactus, and the semi-sentient arool. The planet Lan Barell possessed numerous, continent-sized plateaus that were once covered in cacti forests, though deforestation and mining had shrunk the range of the forests by the time of the Galactic Civil War.
