Caben Jior was a human member of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] they held the rank of Jedi Knight and were tasked with acting as a liaison to the influential Byne Guild of spacers, monitoring reports from far-flung travelers.[1] That year,[2] Jior walked with a human in[3] regulation survival gear[1] through a corridor by the launch bays of the Jedi Temple on[3] the planet[1] Coruscant, passing by Jedi Master Sol and his Padawan Jecki Lon.[3] While at the temple, Wiss wore white and yellow temple robes with a brown Jedi utility belt[1] and brown boots.[3] The human had light skin, brown eyes, and brown hair with a graying beard.[1]

Caben Jior appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] They were first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
