The CX-2000 holographic ghillie suit was a ghillie suit that used intergrated holographic projectors that made the wearer indistinguishable from surrounding foliage while immobile. The wearer was able to blend in seamlessly due to the fact that the electronics in the suit included phototropic sensors that analyzed the surrounding area, as well as atmospheric sensors that altered the image to account for wind direction or precipitation and other weather.[1]
The CX-2000 was used by snipers and other special operations personnel on missions were standard phototropic camouflaging was insufficient for extended concealment. During the Galactic Civil War, the suites cost eight hundred credits and dauntingly hard to find for purchase.[1]
