The C-8 life support system, C-8 life-support system, or simply the C-8 unit, was life support system manufactured by Corellstand that was located in the Number Two Hold of YT-1300 light freighters.[2] It could be easily restructured for any pressurized gasses, or deactivated to conserve energy for droid-only crews. The Millennium Falcon was equipped with one such system, which was standard issue for YT-1300 light freighters.[1]
