The C-44D "Piratesweeper" blaster rifle was mentioned in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo. The book shows the rifle as part the costume worn by Trowee Astur[1] in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] However, the weapon is not visible in the episode itself.[3]
