Butter-basted land shrimp was a food dish. The catering company Estimable Epicures served butter-basted land shrimp at a reception hosted by the crime lords Ritinki and Vop aboard the Ithorian herdship Song of the Clouds.[1]

Butter-basted land shrimp first appeared in The Great Herdship Heist, a short story written by Daniel Wallace, illustrated by Will Warren, and published in November 1997 in Star Wars Adventure Journal 15.[1]
