A view of the Burning Plains
The Burning Plains were a region with heavy volcanic activity to the north of the Mensix Mining Facility on Mustafar. Blistmoks and other Mustafarian creatures could be found here.
The Burning Plains was a thin layer of crust floating on a sea of molten lava. Geologists expected that a major groundquake could cause the entire region to sink, leaving a gigantic lava ocean in its place.
Behind the scenes
The Burning Plains appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4] The Burning Plains were added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.[1]
