The Bryx sector was a sector located in the Mid Rim.
History
The sector was the site of fighting between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. In the final days of the war, a Republic ARC-170 starfighter was shot down during fighting over the planet Du Mai. Its pilot survived but suffered head injuries in the crash, becoming a prophet figure to the people of the planet. It was not until 21 ABY that this "Lost Prophet" was identified as a missing clone trooper.[5]
The Bryx Freedom Fighters, a Separatist holdout force under General Horn Ambigene, were active in the sector following the end of the Clone Wars. They later joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic as the Bryx Sector Force. However, this led to the brutal subjugation of the sector by the Empire.[4]
