Brolla the Hutt was,[1] by 3643 BBY,[2] seeking to hire someone to slice into the computer system of a rival. Though Brolla did not publicly reveal what he was looking for in his rival's computers, he promised good payment.[1]

Around that year,[2] an individual associated with one of the two opposing governments in the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion to slice into the rival's computers. The companion's slicing exposed the individual serving as Brolla's right-hand as a traitor. They also left behind a computer virus, which prompted Brolla to pay them a bonus.[1]

Behind the scenes

Brolla was mentioned in BioWare's 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic in the Crew Skill mission "Working for Brolla," though the information about the mission's outcome was later removed from the game.[1]
