A broadband antenna was a type of antenna that could pick up broadband frequencies. In conjunction with build-in comlinks, broadband antenna receivers allowed EV-series supervisor droids to wirelessly link to local computers.[1] They were similarly equipped on 3PO-series protocol droids.[2]
